EPIC FAMILIES
Parents are the first educators of the faith to their children. (CCC 2221-2226). To support this great parental responsibility, St. Henry Parish utilizes a Family Catechesis model for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Family Catechesis educates parents first through lively presentations and discussions to encourage them in leading faith lessons at home. St. Henry provides parents with parent books and student activity books as well as other resources to help guide successful lessons. Use of Catholic bibles and catechisms are encouraged on a regular basis.
St. Henry's Family Catechesis Program is for all students in K-5th grade.
We use a Family of Faith by Sophia Institute.
- This years Focus: The Sacraments
- Meets on first Sunday of the month
- Parents gather in Bamberg Hall for parent lesson & students meet in classes according to grade level.
- Classes meet from 8:30am to 9:45am
- Parents continue to teach at home with guidance such as parent book, PowerPoints, other resources provided
- Regular mass attendance is important for building a relationship with Christ. Classes are scheduled between the Sunday morning masses to encourage attendance.

El Programa de St. Henry de Catequesis Familiar es para los grados K-5to. Usamos Una Familia de Fe por Sophia Institute.

- Se reune una vez al mes el 1er Domingo del mes.
