S - Sanctification, Sanctuary, Song

The S Group's Mission is to create a sacred atmosphere for worship in the sanctuary and chapel and to empower members of St. Henry by recruitment and training in liturgical ministries.

How You Can Participate...

Penitential Rites - During Advent and Lent, parishioners are invited to participate in a Penance service comprised of readings from Scripture, a brief homily, time for examination of conscience, and individual reconciliation. Several Priests join Father Bradley to hear confessions during this time.

Lenten Activities and Liturgies - Parishioners are invited to participate in special liturgies planned on Ash Wednesdays, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. During Lent, Stations of the Cross are held weekly on Fridays at 7PM.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament - Adoration is held every Monday from 4:30 - 5:30 and every Friday from 9:15 - 7 PM. You may sign up for a scheduled time in the vestibule or you may simply come by and spend time with the Lord at a unscheduled time. The chapel is accessible 24 hours a day with the use of a security code. You may call the parish office for more information.

Liturgical Ministries - Liturgy is the Church's expression of public worship. It includes all rites and ceremonies by which the Church expresses her worship of God. Anyone interested in serving as a liturgical minister may contact the parish office or access the liturgy page or music page for more information.
